Graduate Opportunities:

Please consider joining us as a graduate student via the Florida State University's (FSU) doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. FSU's graduate program in Clinical Psychology is an APA-accredited program based on a clinical science model. You can find out more information about our program on the Department of Psychology website.

Graduate students in the Joiner lab are vigorously involved in our ongoing research and encouraged to pursue, develop, and implement their own independent research projects within our laboratory. For information on how to apply, as well as admission statistics, deadlines, and requirements, please visit the Psychology Graduate Program website

Undergraduate Opportunities:

Graduate students are often actively seeking bright, trustworthy, and committed undergraduate students to assist them in ongoing research projects. Undergraduate students have the opportunity to earn psychology elective credits by actively contributing to the research efforts in our laboratory.

Undergraduate research assistant and DIS students work closely with our team to assist with subject recuritment, run laboratory studies, and code, enter, and analyze data. We also encourage undergraduates to develop and implement their own research ideas in the form of an Honors Thesis.

To find out if any of our graduate students are recruiting undergraduate assistants, please contact our lab coordinator directly at joinerlab@psy.fsu.edu.

In order to be considered for a position in our lab you must fill out our DIS application form completely, attach a curriculum vitae or resume, and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
